FAQ

Questions, before the journey.

A few things travellers ask us most often when planning a coastal trip along Morocco's Atlantic.

01 When is the best time of year to visit Morocco's coast?
April to early June and September to October are the sweet spots — warm enough for the beach, cool enough for long walks on the medina ramparts. Essaouira stays windy year-round (perfect for kitesurfing, less so for sunbathing), while Dakhla's kite season peaks from April to September. Oualidia is gentlest in late spring.
02 Can tours be combined or extended into the interior?
Absolutely — most travellers pair the coast with Marrakech, the Atlas Mountains, or the Sahara. We can build a single seamless itinerary that moves from medina to dune to ocean, with private transfers handling every transition. Two-week journeys allow the most breathing room.
03 What level of accommodation do you offer?
Our partner properties range from intimate boutique riads inside the medina walls to private beachfront villas and design-led eco-camps in Dakhla. Every property is hand-selected — we don't work with chains, and we visit each one ourselves before recommending it.
04 Are these tours suitable for families with young children?
Yes — Essaouira and Oualidia are both wonderful with kids. Calm lagoon swimming, donkey rides on the beach, and easygoing medinas make them firm family favourites. Dakhla is more suited to active teenagers and adults, given its remoteness and the focus on watersports.
05 How do I get to Dakhla — isn't it remote?
It is, and that's much of its appeal. Royal Air Maroc operates daily flights from Casablanca, with seasonal direct flights from Paris and Madrid. The peninsula sits two hours from the airport by 4×4. We handle every transfer and logistics detail end-to-end.
06 What's included in a private tour?
All transfers in a private vehicle with an English-speaking driver, hand-picked accommodation, daily breakfast, curated experiences (cooking classes, lagoon kayaks, kitesurf lessons, hammam visits), and 24/7 on-the-ground support. Flights and personal expenses are separate — we'll share full details once we shape the itinerary together.
